Dr Amandeep Kaur

MBBS, FRACP

Dr Amandeep Kaur is a General Cardiologist with a special interest in Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Maternal Cardiology, and Advanced Cardiac Imaging. She is deeply committed to delivering patient-centred care and strives to ensure every patient feels heard and supported.

Her sub-specialty interests include right heart catheterisation and interatrial structural heart interventions, including atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure.

Dr Kaur was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2025 following the completion of her Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle.

She is currently undertaking a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) in Sydney, where she provides highly specialised care for adults living with congenital heart conditions and continues to refine her procedural skills and expertise.

Aman is appointed as a Senior Clinical Fellow at the internationally renowned Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK, focusing on Maternal Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. This training will further strengthen her ability to care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, particularly women with heart disease during pregnancy and adulthood.

Aman is passionate about improving access to specialised cardiac services in regional and rural Australia. Having trained in Newcastle, she remains committed to supporting local communities and contributing to the delivery of high-quality cardiovascular care in the Hunter region of New South Wales.
